This week, we've been at this year's Executive Hire Show in the Coventry Building Society Arena looking at all the latest innovations in the Plant Hire industry. As well as meeting up with some old friends it's always good to make new contacts too. We attend the show every year, but last week we got an e-mail inviting us to the Executive Hire Show Passionate Hirer Awards Dinner, as the e-mail said, we'd been nominated as one of the final 3 out of 500 single-depot plant hire companies in the UK for the 'Passionate Hirer Single-Depot Award'!! It immediately got a bit dusty in the office as we digested the news that Plantmasters had been recognised in a way that we never have before, except by the lovely things our customers say. We of course went to 'the do' - here's a pic of me and Paul Allsop, Managing Director of Plantmasters Ltd & Allplant Hire with our logo 'large-ing it' on the big screen. We were delighted to be in such good company in the 'Top 3' with Moore Equipment Hire and Purvis Group from Scotland. Moore Equipment Hire came out on top with us joint second with Purvis Group. Just to be nominated in the first place was such a wonderful surprise for us and everyone at Plantmasters Ltd & Allplant Hire but to find ourselves in such great company with like-minded and passionate hirers like Moore and Purvis made us so proud. Sometimes it really is great to be reminded that we're all part of something bigger than just the sum of our parts, and cut-off saws, and plate compactors and excavators........!
